In March 2014,
NS released SD60E #6963 from its Juniata Locomotive Shops in
Altoona, PA. The unit was painted in a special "GORAIL" scheme, as
seen in
the photos below. What is GoRail? From the GoRail website:
"GoRail unites rail
stakeholders with community leaders and the public in support of
rail solutions to tomorrow’s transportation challenges".
On March 26, 2016, Junior
Tillman took these photos of the 6963 as it lead train P9R
entering the K-line at Greensboro, NC.
On June 23, 2016, Jacob
Leukhardt took these photos of the 6963 as it was
leading train C91 at Wilmerding, PA:
