Norfolk Southern upgraded the paint on the 8104 in June 2012

The front and rear end logos were redone larger with a white border, white nose and pilot striping
was added, the side nose flags were reduced in size, and the end handrails and step edges
were changed from yellow to orange to more better replicate the original Lehigh Valley units.
